Susie Howe - Photographer

Susie was born in Hertfordshire, relocating to Norfolk at the age of 7.

Brought up within a family of keen photographers, it was inevitable Susie would also pursue the same passion.

Her father Jim, passed his treasured Voigtlander Vito IIA to Susie a few years ago, although since then she has turned to digital, currently using a Canon 350D EOS.

Mother Joan still uses her Zeiss Ikon which is 50 years old and she won’t be converted. Susie’s sister Alison was awarded ‘Coe’s photographer of the Year, in 1998.

Family holidays were spent at West Mersea Island in Essex where the ‘Howe’ family owned beach huts, thus a prime scenic location and the inspiration for many of Susie’s images.
